Role Summary:
The Manager – Fundraising and Partnerships will play a critical role in mobilizing financial and strategic support for the India Sponsorship Committee. Reporting to the Executive Director, the role is responsible for developing, managing, and growing fundraising initiatives and partnerships with corporates, foundations, institutions, and individual donors. The position requires a balance of strategic thinking, relationship management, and hands-on execution.

Reporting and Performance:
The Manager – Fundraising and Partnerships will report directly to the Executive Director and will be evaluated based on fundraising outcomes, quality of partnerships, donor satisfaction, and contribution to organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fundraising Strategy and Execution:
    • Develop and implement fundraising strategies aligned with organizational priorities and annual targets.
    • Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward donors including corporates, foundations, HNIs, and institutional funders.
    • Prepare high-quality proposals, concept notes, budgets, presentations, and donor reports in collaboration with internal teams.
    • Track fundraising performance, maintain donor pipelines, and ensure timely follow-ups and reporting.
  • Partnerships and Donor Engagement:
    • Build and manage long-term partnerships with corporate, CSR, foundation, and institutional partners.
    • Act as a key point of contact for partners, ensuring strong engagement, communication, and relationship management.
    • Support the design and implementation of partnership activities, including employee engagement, events, and visibility initiatives.
  • Research and Networking:
    • Conduct donor and market research to identify new funding opportunities and partnership prospects.
    • Represent the organization at relevant forums, meetings, and networking events to enhance visibility and outreach.
  • Social media and PR strategy:
    • Lead and define the strategies for fundraising campaigns, aligning storytelling, digital outreach, and media engagement to maximise donor reach and contributions.
    • Drive planned and managed integrated social media and PR efforts for fundraising, crafting compelling narratives to drive awareness, engagement, and donations.
  • Internal Coordination and Compliance:
    • Work closely with program, finance, and communications teams to ensure donor alignment, compliance, and impact reporting.
    • Ensure adherence to donor requirements, statutory regulations, and internal policies related to fundraising and partnerships.
    • Maintain accurate documentation, agreements, and records related to donors and partners.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Postgraduate degree in Management, Social Work, Development Studies, Communications, or a related field.
  • 6–10 years of relevant experience in fundraising, partnerships, business development, or resource mobilization, preferably in the development or non-profit sector.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing donor relationships and securing grants or partnerships.

Role Summary
The Director – Program Quality & Impact will lead ISC’s program quality, Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL), and impact strategy. This role will build a strong culture of learning and accountability, strengthen program design and implementation quality, and ensure that evidence is used to improve decision-making and outcomes. The role will oversee organization-wide quality standards, program reviews, impact measurement, evaluation partnerships, and knowledge management, while ensuring compliance with relevant donor, safeguarding, and data protection requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set and drive ISC’s organization-wide Program Quality & Impact strategy, standards, and annual work plan, aligned with the Strategic Plan.
  • Lead the design and strengthening of MEL systems: theory of change, results frameworks, indicators, data collection tools, and learning agendas.
  • Ensure high-quality program design and adaptive management by integrating evidence, community insights, and risk analysis into program planning and course correction.
  • Oversee routine program quality reviews, field monitoring visits, partner assessments, and supportive supervision mechanisms.
  • Build robust data systems and dashboards for program performance, including data quality assurance (DQA), feedback loops, and decision-support reporting.
  • Lead evaluation and impact measurement: baseline/endline studies, third-party evaluations, and outcome/impact assessments as required by donors/CSR partners.
  • Strengthen community accountability: beneficiary feedback mechanisms, grievance redressal pathways, and participatory learning practices.
  • Embed safeguarding, child protection, gender equality, disability inclusion, and ‘do no harm’ standards into program quality processes and partner capacity-building.
  • Provide technical leadership on knowledge management: documentation of best practices, case studies, learning briefs, and dissemination to internal/external stakeholders.
  • Support proposal development by ensuring strong logic models, MEL plans, budgets for learning/evaluation, and realistic targets.
  • Partner with Finance/Compliance teams to align program reporting with statutory and donor expectations (including FCRA/CSR where applicable).
  • Ensure ethical data governance and privacy-by-design practices across program data lifecycle in line with India’s data protection requirements.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Program Quality/MEL/Impact team; build capacities of program staff and partner teams.

Key Internal & External Interfaces

  • Internal: Executive Director, Program Heads/Managers, Partnerships/Fundraising, Finance & Compliance, HR, Communications.
  • External: Implementing partners, community representatives, government stakeholders, donors/CSR partners, and evaluation and research agencies.

  • Consistent program quality standards implemented across portfolios with measurable improvement in delivery and outcomes.
  • MEL systems produce timely, reliable, and actionable insights used in monthly/quarterly decision-making.
  • Clear learning agenda with documented course corrections and evidence of adaptive management.
  • High-quality donor/CSR reporting and evaluation outputs delivered on time and meeting required standards.
  • Strong safeguarding, inclusion, and community feedback mechanisms functioning and regularly reviewed.
  • Improved partner/program staff capabilities in MEL, data quality, and results-based management.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Postgraduate degree in Social Sciences, Public Policy, Development Studies, Economics, Statistics, Public Health, or a related field.
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in program quality, MEL, and/or impact evaluation in the nonprofit/development sector; at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Strong experience designing results frameworks, indicators, evaluations, and learning systems for multi-site programs.
  • Hands-on expertise in data quality assurance, mixed-methods research, and evidence-to-action processes.
  • Experience working with implementing partners and/or government systems; strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated people leadership, coaching, and team development experience.

Skills & Competencies (Aligned to Current Sector Expectations)

  • Strategic leadership with a strong ‘learning culture’ orientation (MEL as learning, not only reporting).
  • Adaptive management and systems thinking; ability to manage complexity and uncertainty.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis; comfort with tools such as Excel/Sheets and common data platforms (e.g., MIS/CRM, DHIS2/CommCare/Power BI—where relevant).
  • Excellent writing and synthesis for diverse audiences (community, program teams, donors, boards).

  • Location: Mumbai/Pune-based, Travel to program locations and partner sites (as required).

Role Summary
The Program Head will provide overall leadership, governance oversight and operational management of Antar Bharati Balgram. The role ensures child protection, institutional discipline, program quality, compliance, infrastructure management, donor engagement and financial accountability.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Holistic Child Care & Protection: Implement structured daily routines; oversee counselling, health and academic monitoring; ensure Child Protection Policy compliance; maintain updated child records.
  2. Human Resource Leadership: Recruit, train, supervise and evaluate caregivers and staff; conduct monthly performance reviews; ensure discipline and adherence to child care standards.
  3. Safety & Security: Ensure visitor logs, CCTV functionality, night/day rounds, safety drills and immediate incident escalation; maintain zero tolerance for CPP violations.
  4. Infrastructure & Campus Management: Oversee maintenance of residential facilities, kitchens, sanitation, utilities, vehicles and equipment; ensure timely closure of maintenance issues.
  5. Process, SOP & Compliance: Implement KRAs and SOPs; ensure statutory documentation under JJ Act; coordinate audits and compliance visits; maintain 100% documentation accuracy.
  6. CSR & Donor Relations: Prepare timely donor and CSR reports (narrative & financial); facilitate donor visits; ensure transparent utilisation of grants and in-kind donations.
  7. Monitoring & Evaluation: Maintain MIS dashboards; track KPIs; conduct monthly reviews; ensure data-driven decision making and financial prudence.

Qualifications & Experience

  1. Graduate/Postgraduate in Social Work, Psychology, Education or related field.
  2. 6–8 years total experience, including 3–5 years in CCI, SOS or residential child care settings.
  3. Strong knowledge of JJ Act and child rights frameworks.
  4. Proficiency in English, Hindi and Marathi.
  5. Working knowledge of MS Office, MIS tools and data management systems
  6. Demonstrated leadership, emotional maturity and administrative capability.
